Julie offers one-to-one yoga classes, focusing on individual needs, beyond what can be achieved in a group class setting and are ideally suited to people recovering from or living with an injury or illness. Julie’s approach is to understand and support your individual needs through applying yoga techniques of asana (postures and movement), breathing and relaxation to alleviate your specific illness or injury and helping your body to move in a more balanced and effortless way. One to one classes provide an opportunity for clients to ask questions and explore their yoga, so that they can develop self-awareness and a ‘sense of feeling’, leading to a better understanding and discrimination of useful and non-useful movement habits. One-to-one yoga classes are suitable for those new to yoga and more experienced students. Conditions suitable for this approach include both long-term illnesses and specific injuries.
