Discover all about your cycle, why it’s more important than you might think and enjoy yoga that is optimal for the different times of the month.
We change physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually with our cycle more than we’ve been taught. If we live our day-to-day lives in sync with these changes then we are less stressed and tired because we’re not going against, or ignoring, our flow. Living with our natural rhythm, brings us energy, focus, balance and harmony.
A lot of yoga is designed by men for men, so doesn’t take account of our cyclical nature – this approach does. It may also help alleviate, or manage, cycle problems, such as period pain and premenstrual syndrome.
Come and join this 1-day workshop to:
- Find out how the menstrual cycle really works and how it influences you
- Discover menstrual cycle awareness and how to use yoga to explore your own cycle, including a cycle awareness meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation)
- Enjoy yoga sequences specially created for:
- period time – nurturing yoga – and find out which practices to avoid and why
- pre-menstrual time – releasing and grounding yoga
- Know how to deal with the challenges of premenstrual time and period time and discover benefits to these times, including practical lifestyle and self-care tips.
The day will be a combination of yoga, teaching about the cycle, self-reflection and discussion with plenty of time for questions and answers. All women with a cycle are most welcome, including absolute beginners to yoga and women with amenorrhea (absent periods).

About Sue Blanch
Sue Blanch is a menstrual cycle educator, mentor, yoga teacher and author of “Yoga and the Menstrual Cycle – Live in Harmony with your Natural Rhythm”. She enables women to live life at their optimum health and well-being by living in sync with the natural ebbs and flows of their cycle. She struggled with her cycle for 30 years until she found that tuning into her cyclical changes and the optimal type of yoga at the appropriate time eliminated her period pain and premenstrual syndrome. To her surprise, she also discovered benefits to the menstrual cycle that she never knew existed, like times when she was full of creativity, which she now capitalises on. She shares this powerful approach with women.
