Saturday Classes  

 8.00am – 9.15am Ashtanga Modified Primary Series  with Justine 

Ashtanga is an incredibly powerful and therapeutic practice that has the potential to create a vibrantly healthy body and ultimately calm the mind. This is a spiritual practice that helps connect you to your soul and will leave you feeling balanced, rejuvenated, with a new sense of energy. 
At the heart of this practice is breath synchronised with movement to create a dynamic flow, so be prepared to work hard and expect to get a little sweaty as the focus on one of the tools ‘ujjayi breath’ will generate an intense internal heat as you move around the mat. 
The Primary Series is a set sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility, and endurance to the body. It is designed to purify the body through the breath and the movement to invoke a stillness of the mind. 
This is a strong class following the traditional format of the Ashtanga Primary Series and teaching the fundamentals of the practise – sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, and closing sequence poses. Class ends with shavasana (relaxation).

 10.00am – 12.00pm Pregnancy Yoga and Birth Education  with Caroline 

Suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy to birth. 
Pregnancy can be a very special time for a woman, she will experience her body changing as her baby grows. She may experience emotional ups and downs too. The Yoga practise can help to bring balance back. 
In the Pregnancy yoga classes we include: 
• Flowing movements that help to build strength and flexibility. 
• Simple breathing techniques to help relieve stress and anxiety. 
• Explore movements and sounds that can be used during labour and birth. 
• Relaxation techniques. 
• Opportunity to connect with other pregnant women. 
• Discussions about Pregnancy and Birth.
