  10.00am – 11.00am Gentle Yoga with Amanda ‘in-person’ only (currently fully subscribed)

Amanda teaches a friendly and welcoming recuperative style yoga class at Yoga for Harmony based on the Hatha Yoga Pawanmuktasanas which is suitable for all, particularly those recovering from surgery or serious illness both physical and mental.

 11.30am - 12.45pm Yoga for All with Julie 

This is a general class for all ages, abilities and experience, including beginners. 
 
The class is based around the main principles of Hatha Yoga, and includes breathing practices, general posture work and relaxation to finish. There are interludes for information or dsicussion, yogic philosophy and student interaction is welcomed, and I like to encourage 'fun' and 'freedom' within the practice. 
 
 
The yoga I teach is an evolution of nearly 30 years of practice and study, with a broad experience of many styles and teachers. In recent years I have been moving away from ‘external’ evaluation of the postures and moving towards an ‘internal’ sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential and ‘felt’ approach, influenced by teachers who have been inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.

 2.00pm - 3.00pm Beginner's Yoga with Julie 

This class is particularly suited to beginners, those returning to yoga having had a break, those with specific injuries or conditions or even those that consider themselves to be of a ‘certain age’ that might need a less challenging approach.

 8.00pm – 9.30pm Yoga Flow and Deep Relaxation  with Sarah 

Your mat is a safe haven, a place where you can move, breathe and explore without judgement. My classes are open to everybody, all bodies, and I encourage you to approach yoga with an open mind. Many people never attend a yoga class because they don’t believe that they’re flexible enough but this is where yoga can help! 
 
This class unites asanas (postures) and sun salutations with inhalations and exhalations, creating a steady internal rhythm and slowing building heat in the physical body. By flowing through asanas we create both strength and flexibility, by focusing on our breath we create space and relieve ourselves of tension, and by turning inward we learn to focus and find calm. 
 
Oh, and we do all this while having a bit of fun, because life (and yoga) should never be taken too seriously…
