First Aid Certification for Yoga Tutors, Pilates Tutors and Holistic Practitioners with Colin Fordham

This full day First Aid Course will guide you through the theory and all the practical applications of First Aid that might be required
in the unlikely event of an incident at a class you are teaching.
‘Best practice' continues to be that most teaching Governing Bodies require their teachers to keep their
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification updated every 3 years.
Certification is with 'First Aid Awards' and Colin's teaching governing body is NUCO.
The Certification is valid for 3 years
Apart from teaching full First Aid coures, Colin is also a qualified BWY Yoga Tutor, and has been organising First Aid Days for Yoga and Pilates teachers for many years. As a result we get a more 'relevant to the yoga situation' approach to our First Aid, and Colin is happy to answer questions related to the yoga/pilates situation that might not be addressed in a standard First Aid Day.
Course times are:
9.15 am. Arrive for ID check - you MUST bring photo ID either a passport or a driving licence
9.30 am. Course starts promptly and late arrivals may not be allowed to join the group. Please allow plenty of journey/parking time (see parking info at the bottom of this page)
11.30 am. Break.
12.00. Course restarts.
2.00 pm. Break.
2.30 pm Course restarts.
4.30 pm Course finishes.
Candidates must do CPR fully which means that they must perform rescue breaths to pass the EFAW qualification. You will therefore be, at times, within close proximity to your partner for CPR, recovery position, bandaging and choking.
Please bring a mask and wear it if either you or your partner wants to.
Terms and Conditions of booking:
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel your place more than 6 weeks before the workshop then a refund of your payment less an administration charge of £5 will be made.
If you wish to cancel your place less than 6 weeks before the date of the workshop then a refund of your payment less the £5 administration charge will only be given if the place is re-sold.
