Aimee is a multi-disciplinary, clinical therapist with 15 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher and Educator and is a registered Osteopath. Her work within her busy clinic uses both philosophies to empower people to manage and prevent pain through movement.
Being an Osteopath gives her the clinical, medical and scientific perspective of the human body that most yoga teachers do not possess. Her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, mechanism of injury, and health of the human body has then applied to the practical experience of teaching Yoga, how we approach our asana practice and teaching safely.
Aimee’s practical instruction is based on the encouragement of organic movement, embodiment and individual exploration with an evidence-based foundation. Focusing on 'FREEING THE INNER TEACHER' for both teachers and their students. Anatomy is taught and learnt through touch and working with partners as well as exploring our own experience of feeling our anatomy.
